Selected topics of current interest and concern in the fields of science, technology, and health are studied, with an emphasis on gaining a deep understanding of the technological, sociological, and philosophical challenges that accompany fast-paced developments in science. Students will learn how to fully engage and discuss such topics across a breadth of disciplines while developing ways to convey complex scientific work of their own or others to broad audiences. Note(s): 1 hour per week, 7 week course to run during A or B (first or second) weeks of the semester. Grade Mode: A.
Restriction(s): Must be Stewart Honors Program, and Undergraduate Level; special exception for non Stewart Honors Program students by signature arrangement only.
