Public Relations Certificate in Social Media
Mission
The mission of the Public Relations Certificate in Social Media is to provide communication leaders with a biblically centered approach to strategic communication, equipping them to be creative thought-leaders, effective communicators and ethical influencers for organizations throughout the globe.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Public Relations Certificate in Social Media, students will be able to:
- Analyze public relations digital practices from a judeo-christian perspective (ULO 2).
- Create strategic campaign initiatives based on industry best-practices (ULO 3).

There will be an application to enter the certificate program, to ensure enough seats for Public Relations M.A. students.
A student must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and no single grade lower than a "C" to receive the certificate.
Students may apply to the M.A. program and, if accepted, have these credits applied toward their M.A. in Public Relations and Reputation Management degree. In order for the courses to be applied to the M.A., students should enter the M.A. program within five years of receiving their certificate.
The Public Relations Certificate in Social Media requires 9 credits of coursework.
