TENT 503 - Introduction to Exegesis - Spanish Credits 3

Descripción del curso - Introducción a la Exégesis: Un estudio exhaustivo de la morfología y la sintaxis, la construcción de un vocabulario griego, una introducción a la crítica textual, y el método exegético con la lectura en pasajes seleccionados del Nuevo Testamento griego. Este curso se ha diseñado para enfatizar el valor del estudio del griego como herramienta para la comprensión del texto bíblico. Course description - A comprehensive survey of morphology and syntax, the building of a Greek vocabulary, an introduction to textual criticism, and exegetical method with reading in selected passages of the Greek New Testament. Descripción del curso - La Exégesis en los Evangelios: Estudio exegético de pasajes seleccionados del texto griego de los evangelios. Aplicación de la metodología exegética y discusión de cuestiones de trasfondo, entre ellas los antecedentes históricos, la composición, la autoría y los rasgos característicos de cada libro. Se prestará atención particular a la evaluación de los métodos críticos modernos para la interpretación del texto bíblico. Course description - Exegetical study of select passages from the Greek text of the gospels. Application of exegetical methodology and discussion of background issues, including historical backgrounds, composition, authorship, and distinctives of each book. Special attention given to assessment of modern critical methods for the interpretation of the biblical text. Note(s): Master of Divinity - Spanish students may take TENT 604 or TENT 605. Aplicación de la metodología exegética y discusión de cuestiones de trasfondo, entre ellas los antecedentes históricos, la composición, la autoría y los rasgos característicos de cada libro. Se presta atención especial a la evaluación de los métodos críticos modernos para la interpretación del texto bíblico.
